The story of Born Loser
Born Loser started as a small personal project from Mike Davis during the early chopper years. It was never meant to be a big operation. It was just graphics, shirts and a name that floated around the same garage culture he lived in.
Around that time Mike and Grant Peterson were deep in the old-bike scene riding building and putting on small rides. That world eventually grew into what became the Born Free Show. The two names they were using back then Born Loser and Freedom Machinery combined naturally to form the new show name. That connection lived quietly in the background as the event grew.
As the years went on Born Free became one of the most recognized chopper shows around. Born Loser the original clothing idea simply stayed dormant. The name still meant something but the project itself paused.
Why bring it back
Born Loser has history. Not hype history but real people real bikes real garages. Letting it stay boxed up forever did not feel right. Bringing it back is about respecting where it came from without trying to recreate a specific moment in time.
This version is not a nostalgia brand. It is a new chapter influenced by the past but built for right now. Strong graphics moto inspiration and shirts made to be worn hard not curated.
